a cool day

yesterday was a cool day...not due to the weather though.

got no sleep Sunday night...but got in some good prayer time. i got to spend a ton of time with mary beth and it was much needed. i think as much for her as me. she was clinging to me like a wet leaf to the pavement. we went shopping for car parts together, & put out carrots for our new family rabbit that only comes around when he wants to.

i soon had to leave for a little church softball. that was good to, tons of fun playing softball with my students. i went 3 for 3 so it was a good night, also turned my first double play of the season, we won 11-6. finished the night off by changing brakes on the "red red car," as mary beth likes to put it, and even changed the oil. those back brakes are tough.

we have decided to turn the Mercury Tracer back into the family car, due to the lovely fuel cost. we'll see how much cash it saves.
